The Charity Shop remains our main source of income, thanks to our fundraising queen Sandra, who started the initiative in 2020. She leads a wonderful team of volunteers, each with their own set days to help in the shop.
We typically open in Queen Street for one month at the beginning of the year and another month mid-year. The funds raised through the shop have been instrumental — helping us cover architects’ fees, planning costs, water rates, and many other essentials not covered by grants.
Before any work began on the Old Warehouse building, the shop also ran successfully for a three-month period, providing a vital financial boost.
