We were honoured to welcome Lord-Lieutenant Seymour Monro back to The Lossie Community Hub. Seymour has been a steadfast supporter of The Lossie 2–3 Group from our early days as a playgroup through to our growth into a thriving community hub.
Both Seymour and our Community Development Manager, Louise McBride, have worked together on the Moray Fairer Forum Action Group — a partnership focused on supporting individuals and families across Moray facing poverty. Their work was later shared in The Moray Council’s Inequality Report, helping to highlight real challenges within our communities.
Seymour’s ongoing kindness, encouragement, and advocacy have meant so much — from helping during COVID-19 to celebrating with us at the Hub’s official opening. His visit was a touching reminder of what can be achieved when people come together with care, compassion, and shared purpose.
