Purpose
The Lossie 2-3 Group is challenging the community within the Lossiemouth High Catchment Area to create two new logos. One for the new Lossie Community Hub and the other to rebrand The Lossie 2-3 Group.
Guidelines
- The logo for the Community Hub must include elements that relate to the history of the building (Fishermen storing nets and supplies)
- The logos MUST be the original work of the submitter
- The logo should only use the following colors; white, black, plus 3 colours of the artist’s choice.
- The logo may be created using pencils, crayons, markers, and paint. Also, the logo may be created with a computer drawing program, but of course, all images must be original
- The logo should be simple, not be complicated or confusing, and all elements must be discernible when reproduced in smaller sizes.
Submission Deadline
30th April 2023, 12:00 noon. Only entries received or postmarked by 30th April 2023 will be considered.
Participation
The competition is open to all of the community of Lossiemouth High Catchment Area
Submission Format
Designs must be submitted in any of the following formats: .jpg, .png or .pdf emailed webmaster@lossiecommunityhub.org.uk or hard copy can either be scanned and emailed to webmaster@lossiecommunityhub.org.uk or handed in to Lossie Youth Cafe. Images can not be larger than A4 and no smaller than, three inches by three inches (3” x 3”).
Judging
A committee of Lossie 2-3 Grop and the Director of 3rd Pixel Ltd will assess and decide a shortlist of 10 (5 per logo). The shortlisted logos will then go up for the public vote.
Copyright
The Lossie 2-3 Group will acquire ownership of the winning logos by assignment of copyright, and the winning designer will disclaim any trademarks and without limitation all other rights related to the design. By submitting a logo for entry in the competition, the designer acknowledges that he/she is the person that created the logo and is the rightful owner. The designer also certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party and that it does not violate any copyright.

Two winner will receive a £25 Gift Voucher Each from our sponsor 3rd Pixel Ltd
NB – The Lossie 2-3 group is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or otherwise unusable entries, including entries that are lost or unusable due to computer, internet, or electronic problems.
